Small ring traditionally worn amongst the Tuareg people in their hair, or on necklaces. The carnelian stone set in the ring is from Idar-Oberstein, Germany; the silver setting is made in Mali, West Africa. Over 50 years old, and quite rare. 33mm long x 20mm wide x 5mm thick.
